Business confidence in Australia rose in August, reaching the highest level in four months.
According to National Australia Bank's monthly business confidence index, confidence rose from two points in July to 11 points in August, recovering lost ground.
Although business conditions remain subdued, with sales and employment conditions still weak, the NAB says confidence among Australian companies is improving.
