NZX is alter the way it announces changes to the make-up of its stock market indices.
The stock market operator says it won't now issue any memos outlining any possible changes. It will issue only a final determination.
Last month, Allied Farmers share price spiked after NZX sent a note to a limited number of market players that the company would be included in the NZX50 index, which it later reversed.
