The New Zealand share market rose 15 points, or 0.5%, at the close of trade on Friday to 3080.
Fletcher Building was up 9 cents to $7.54 per share, Contact Energy rose 2c to $5.68, while Telecom was down 1c to $2.30 after announcing a second quarter drop in profit.
Sky City Entertainment gained 3c to $3.13, Sky Television Network was up 1c to $4.73 and Air New Zealand also rose 1c to $1.32.
Auckland International Airport was unchanged at $1.87 and Pine Gould Corporation was also unchanged at 44c.
Retailer The Warehouse was up 1c to $3.80, while Hallenstein Glasson shed 4c to $3.59.
Steel and Tube fell 9c to $2.60.
