A round-up from Radio New Zealand's business reporters, including Mercer Group resignations, Pan Pacific Petroleum investors urged to reject takeover offer and Air New Zealand and ANZ Bank renew a partnership.

Mercer Group resignations

Mercer Group's chief executive and chief financial officer are resigning, at the end of August.

Rodger Shepherd and Tobin Blathwayt have worked at the Christchurch-based stainless steel business for near on four years and will work with the board to ensure a smooth transition to new leadership.

Mr Shepherd has over 35 million shares in the company, while Mr Blathwayt holds over 3.7 million shares.

Investors urged to reject takeover offer

Pan Pacific Petroleum is urging its investors to reject a takeover offer by Australia's Zeta Energy.

Zeta is offering 5 cents a share.

Air New Zealand and ANZ renew partnership

Air New Zealand and ANZ bank have renewed their partnership relating to the Air New Zealand Airpoints programme.

Following a successful initial five year term, ANZ has signed for a further five years. In doing so, ANZ Airpoints Visa card holders now benefit from even better Airpoints Dollar earning rates on their credit card spend.
