Centrix, a new credit reporting agency, is joining forces with Baycorp, a debt collection company.
Centrix was founded four years ago by Baycorp former chief executive Keith McLaughlin, who says company has spent the last four years building a nationwide credit reporting database.
Mr McLaughlin says adding Baycorp's data will boost Centrix's credit reporting database.
He says Centrix has built its database with support from collection companies which has enabled it to compete with Veda, the dominant industry player and previous owner of Baycorp.
