Telecommunications company 2degrees has appointed a new chief executive after former boss Eric Hertz died in a plane crash in April.
Chairperson Stewart Sherriff has been appointed to the role after serving as a board member and then chairman for several years.
He will resign from his role as chief technology officer at Trilogy International Partners - 2degrees' majority shareholder - and move with his wife from Chicago to New Zealand.
Mr Sherriff has been filling in as interim chief executive over the last five months.
2degrees says the appointment follows a global search for Mr Hertz's replacement.
