Contact Energy says it sold $100 million of new wholesale bonds in the domestic market on Wednesday.
The $50 million of five-year bonds sold at a 4.8% coupon while the $50 million of seven-year bonds went at a 5.3% coupon.
The Bank of New Zealand was the sole lead arranger for the sale of bonds. They will not be quoted on the NZX debt market.
