OceanaGold Corporation says its first shipment of about 5000 tonnes of copper-gold concentrate is now on its way from the San Fernando port in the Philippines to Hibi in Japan.
The company expects its first cash payment for the concentrate in mid-April.
Managing director Mick Wilkes says the next 5000 tonne shipment is expected late this month.
