Casino operator Sky City Entertainment has not ruled out making an investment in the Philippines gaming market.
The New Zealand Herald reports the Auckland-based company is considering investing as much as $200 million in a new venue in Manila.
In response, Sky City says it is considering options to expand the business beyond Australasia and while it admits the Philippines market is attractive, it has nothing to disclose to investors.
Sky City Entertainment is looking at ways to grow the business beyond its existing markets and has visited the Philippines as part of that.
It says it is aware of the media speculation.
