The NZX50 is up 15 points, or 0.4%, to close at 3563 on turnover of $76 million on Monday.
When the markets closed the NZ dollar was at 81.88 US, 77.47 Australian, 52.40 pence, 64.19 yen and 0.6605 euro, with the trade-weighted index at 73.48.
Fletcher Building was up 10 cents to $6.27, Telecom was up 3 cents at $2.71, Chorus was down 1 cent at $3.07 and Contact Energy remained at $4.93.
Sky City Entertainment was up 3 cents at $3.59, Sky Network Television was up 1 cent at $5.03, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was down 5 cents at $1.89 and the Warehouse was down 2 cents to $2.65.
Cavalier Corp was up 4 cents to $1.64, OceanaGold was up 5 cents to $2.65, Xero was unchanged at $5.31 and NZX was up 1 cent at $1.18.
