NZ Refining Ltd has named a new chief executive to take over from Ken Rivers, who is departing.
From next January, Sjoerd Post will become chief executive of the company which supplies around 80% of the country's refined fuels from its refinery at Marden Point.
Mr Post is currently executive vice president of Downstream Strategy and Portfolio for Shell International Petroleum based in London, where has held a variety of roles in a 30 year career there.
Mr Rivers retires at the end of this year.
