Air New Zealand says patronage rose in May.
The airline carried 910,000 passengers last month, 2% more than in May last year.
Short haul passenger numbers rose 1.7% and long-haul passenger numbers went up 4.8%.
Domestic passenger numbers increased 0.4%.
