Facebook shares have dipped below $US30 for the first time since their flotation, to a new low of $US29.27.
The shares were launched at $US38 on 18 May during its flotation, which valued the company at more than $US100 billion.
Since then, Facebook's shares have lost almost a quarter of their value.
