Property investment company NPT says the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority has confirmed its Eastgate Shopping Centre in Christchurch meets new seismic standards.
The listed property landlord says buildings in the shopping centre complex have capacities of 58 - 135% of current design code loadings.
This is well above the minimum 33% expected for re-occupation.
