Trading on the New Zealand stock exchange picked up in February.
Almost 78,000 trades were made on the NZX in February, 57% more than in the same period a year earlier.
However, the total value traded slipped by 3.5% to $2.2 billion.
Trades worth more than $50,000 have risen more than 63% during the year.
The NZX50 index fell 1.4% in the month.
