Police are appealing for witnesses as they continue to investigate the death of a man whose burnt body was found near a lake in rural Canterbury.
The body of 36-year-old Marcus Luke Tucker, from Christchurch, was found on Drain Road in Doyleston, south of Christchurch, on Monday morning.
Yesterday the police confirmed Mr Tucker had been brutally assaulted prior to his death, and his body burned.
Today Detective Inspector Tom Fitzgerald said the police would begin a scene examination of an Addington address which may be connected to his death.
