A Northland man wanted in relation to an assault on a police officer has turned up after 12 days.
Police have been looking for Nathan Theobald since an officer was attacked in a forestry block north of Dargaville and suffered injuries to his face.
They said Mr Theobald, 29, presented himself at the Whangarei police station this morning.
No charges have been laid against him at this point.
