A man has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after falling whilst climbing near Christchurch.
St John were called to Orton Bradley Park on Banks Peninsula just after 5pm today.
A spokesman said the man, aged in his 20's, was flown to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries.
The man is believed to be a member of the local climbing club.
