A woman is fighting for her life in Auckland Hospital after being hit by a truck.
The police said the woman, who is in her 40s, was walking her dog in Greys Avenue just before 9am when a truck reversed into her.
She was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries, and the truck has been towed for examination.
Investigations were under way, and the police were working to contact the woman's next of kin.
