10:34 am on 23 February 2016

The man accused of murdering Hawkes Bay Plunket nurse Victoria Foster will go on trial in the High Court in Napier in November.

Chazz Hayden Hall appeared before the High Court today and pleaded not guilty to several charges including the murder of Ms Foster.

Other charges he is defending are driving in a dangerous manner, possession of a firearm without a licence, threatening to kill or do grievous bodily harm and reckless use of a firearm.

Charges of using a firearm against police officers and failing to stop were withdrawn.

The body of Ms Foster, who was 24, was found in her home in the Napier suburb of Westshore last October.

Mr Hall was remanded in custody to reappear at a pre-trial hearing in April.
