A swarm of shallow quakes are being felt around Whakatane tonight.
GNS has recorded at least 14 from just before 6pm, ranging from magnitude 2.3 to 3.3.
They are all 10 kilometres north west of the Bay of Plenty town, from six to 10 kilometres deep.
