Fire fighters are at the scene of a large house fire in Taupo.
The Fire Service was called to a two-storey property on Tamatea Road, shortly after 10pm.
The second storey was engulfed in flames when they arrived and the fire appeared to have started in the roof.
It was unclear whether there were people inside when the fire broke out, but everyone has now been accounted for, the service said.
