The police investigating the killing of a man in the Far North on New Year's Eve are looking for information about a car.
Lee Rata was assaulted at a wedding on Bonnetts Road in Kaitaia, and died in hospital the next day.
A man has been charged with his murder.
The police want to hear about any sightings of a silver 1994 Nissan Primera, registration number YD7680, in the Kaitaia or Moerewa area around the time of the incident.
