A person has died after being hit by a train in Auckland.
Emergency services were called to near Abattoir Lane in Mount Wellington just after 2pm this afternoon.
The death of the 35-year-old man has been referred to the coroner.
Auckland Transport said rail services were now cleared to go, but passengers should expect delays as the services returned to schedule.
