Commuters in Wellington this morning were held up by a man on the train tracks who had to be arrested and removed by police.
KiwiRail said the service from Upper Hutt to Wellington was stopped at Ngauranga because someone was on the track.
Police said he was arrested for his own safety and was still in custody.
