Fire crews took several hours to put out a large blaze at a wood manufacturing plant in Taupo overnight.
More than 40 firefighters from around the Bay of Plenty were called to the Laminex-owned property on Centennial Ave just after 7.30pm yesterday.
A spokesperson said the cause of the fire was not known, but it originated from the conveyer-belt system. No one was injured.
