Several earthquakes have rattled parts of Otago and Southland this morning
A 4.5 magnitude earthquake shook the region just after 9am and was centred 45 kms east of Haast at a depth of 15 kms.
It was followed about forty minutes later by a magnitude 4 tremor centred in the same area.
Light shaking has been reported in Wanaka and Queenstown.
