New Zealand's great banana shortage is over, with a fresh shipment arriving from Ecuador.
Some supermarkets were forced to limit supply of bananas last week, after a cargo ship bringing the fruit from Ecuador broke down.
The Allgood Banana company said a new shipment of fair trade bananas had arrived.
It said the top of the North Island would have bananas on the shelf from tomorrow and the rest of the country would have new stock on Monday.
