Police in Hamilton are investigating a school fire, in which tyres under a wheelchair access ramp and clinic were set alight.
The fire occurred at the Hamilton East School yesterday morning.
Police said two buildings at the school, the hall and a dental clinic, had varying degrees of damage.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson said any attack on a school was tragic, and asked for anyone with information to contact the police.
