The former director of a Waikato pork company has been issued wth a court order to restrict his involvement in the industry and ban him from managing animal effluent.

Today was Kenneth McIntyre's fourth prosecution for piggery-related offences.

Last month, Mr McIntyre and his employer, Kaimai Pork Ltd, were fined nearly $129,000 in relation to a commercial piggery in Te Aroha that was operating with excess stock numbers and poor infastructure.

The piggery kept discharging effluent into the environment, even after being asked to stop by the Waikato Regional Council.

The council said after numerous warnings and notices it had little choice but to take Mr McIntyre to court.
