Coming out as a trans woman 26 years into marriage

Kyle and Marion Mewburn live in Miller's Flat, Central Otago. An award-winning author, Kyle kept a secret for 50 years, before coming out as a trans woman 26 years into their marriage. 

They've now been together 32 years. 

Kyle is currently working with a publisher on a book about her transition story, which she says ultimately is a love story.
