An Auckland emergency doctor, who's at home with Covid-19 herself, says staff shortages are heading towards the worst she's seen.
There are hundreds of frontline staff off because of Covid-19 across the city's hospitals.
One of them is senior doctor Kate Allan who represents the College of Emergency medicine.
She told health correspondent Rowan Quinn she's one of many ED workers at home with Covid-19.
