Covid-19: Councillors frustrated by Thames-Coromandel mayor's vaccination stance

A code of conduct complaint has been laid about Thames Coromandel District Council mayor Sandra Goudie's vaccination stance. Several councillors are fuming the mayor will attend a council meeting today in person, despite being unvaccinated. Adding to their ire is the emergence of a month-old youtube video which features Sandra Goudie interviewed on an Australian anti-vaccination group's channel. Councillor Gary Gotlieb describes the mayor as incompetent and is frustrated she can't be ousted. He spoke to Susie Ferguson.
