Tourism industry representative on immigration changes

The government has tourism in its sights as it embarks on what it calls a once-in-a generation reset of the immigration system.

It says the country has got to move away from its reliance on a low-skilled migrant workforce.

The Government says it will scrutinise the tourism industry for ways to lift industry standards and to encourage innovation and improvements.

Tourism Industry Aotearoa chief executive Chris Roberts spoke to Corin Dann.
