After months of wrangling and two now-eliminated waves of Covid-19 the government will finally begin a field trial of its bluetooth CovidCard next week.
A Rotorua-based trial of the bluetooth technology, which would theoretically speed up contact tracing, was due to start a month ago but has been beset by delays, including the departure of prominent collaborator Sam Morgan.
