Aucklanders are being asked to either work from home or find alternative ways of getting into the city after an incident on the Auckland Harbour Bridge caused damage to the superstructure on Friday.
Four out of eight lanes of the bridge are now closed as the NZTA frantically works to repair the damage.
The first morning rush hour since the incident is approaching though, and all eyes are on the motorway network to see how it copes.
