Police investigations into terrorist funding doubled after 15 March

Police investigations of potential terrorist funding has more than doubled in New Zealand since the 15 March mosque shootings.

Lawyers, accountants and banks have to report suspicious financial activity to the police, including any transactions that could be funding terrorist organisations.

The police say the vast majority of reports turn out to be innocent, but money is being sent to terror groups.
