Overseas Kiwis connect to oppose isolation charges

From Morning Report, 8:44 am on 24 July 2020

New Zealand citizens living overseas say they feel unwelcome to return home as the question of charging for quarantine remains unanswered.

On a new facebook group called 'Team of Six Million', Kiwis across the globe say at least one million citizens are facing the pandemic overseas.

They too want to be counted in the Prime Minister's 'team' and feel growing hostility from inside New Zealand towards returning travellers is unwarranted.

They have launched a petition to oppose the proposal of fee charging for quarantine, gaining almost 2000 followers in less than two days.
