The owner of a building destroyed in a large fire in South Auckland yesterday brought in a demolition company to help put it out by digging over hot-spots and destroying everything inside.
Today fire investigators will return to the site to speak to workers to try to work out how it started.
At its height more than 20 fire engines were fighting the blaze in Takanini, which sent huge plumes of black, acrid smoke over the area.
