Councils complain over lack of money to stop kauri dieback spread

Local councils have sent a scathing letter to government ministers complaining about the lack of money being put into stopping the spread of kauri dieback.

The government has committed more than $20 million over four years to researching the devastating disease, but that doesn't cover containing the infestation. RNZ's Katie Doyle reports.
