Little faith abusive letters from prison can be stopped - relative

A Christchurch woman who got more than 30 abusive and threatening letters from a family member in prison has little faith such intrusions will stop.

Cabinet Ministers are now looking at possible law changes to what mail can be received and sent by prisoners, after the accused Christchurch gunman was able to send mail to supporters.

Lisa McLaren says it took repeated phone calls over three years to block letters from a family member. And she's not overly optimistic that any law changes will help. She spoke to Corin Dann.
