Muslim community advocate Guled Mire says it is "shocking" that the accused mosque shooter was able to send a six-page letter to a supporter in Russia.
Mr Mire said that given the situation with the accused, and the rise of copycat incidents, there should be stronger measures in place to stop hateful rhetoric being allowed out. He said it is a slap in the face of the Muslim community.
