From Morning Report, 8:29 am on 26 July 2019

Over to the US where the fall-out from special counsel Robert Mueller's evidence against US President Donald Trump continues.

The former FBI director Robert Mueller spent two years probing alleged collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia.

He concluded that Russia had interfered in the election with the intention of benefiting Mr Trump's campaign.

And while found Mr Trump tried to obstruct his investigation, he found no evidence of a criminal conspiracy between the Russians and the Trump campaign team.

Mr Mueller gave evidence at two congressional hearings answering hundreds of questions.
