Shortage of dementia rest home beds in Canterbury

Dementia support workers say a shortage of dementia beds in Canterbury is only expected to get worse. About 96 percent of the 800 dementia rest home beds in Canterbury are taken, and rest homes are frantically trying to build more to meet demand. RNZ Christchurch reporter, Logan Church, has the story.
