New night shelter for women opens in Auckland

Women sleeping rough in Auckland will now have the option of a warm dry shelter over the winter months. Just over a week ago the Auckland City Mission opened its 10-bed night-shelter for women, including trans-women, behind its main building on Hobson Street. It is the city's only night shelter.
