Otago school urges seats for children on buses
An Otago school is calling for the government to review a policy that allows students to stand in the aisle of buses while on the open road. The board of trustees for Wanaka Primary School says the practice is extremely unsafe and potentially life threatening, and that a rule of one seat per child needs to be adopted instead. Their chair is Andrew Howard. He talks to Susie Ferguson.
