CYF admits shortage of social workers ahead of ministry change

Lucy Sandford-Reed, the executive officer at the Association of Social Workers, says a 2014 review shows a shortage of social workers is not new. "What I hear from my members is that very little has changed and I find it slightly strange that they're now saying they're only now looking at and analysing staff needs and where the shortages are."
