The Waitangi Tribunal has found the Crown repeatedly and often grievously breached the Treaty of Waitangi in its dealings with the people of Te Urewera and an arborist who has been staging a sit-in up a west Auckland kauri tree says the damage done to it in an attack this morning is a death sentence.
