AKer's urged no travel for school hols, businesses disappointed

It's the last day of term but Aucklanders have been told they won't be able to head out of town for the holidays. Even if there is an alert levels shift next week, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern yesterday ruled out opening Auckland's borders to the rest of the country. And it's not just house-bound Aucklanders for whom the news is a big blow - businesses which rely on tourists from our biggest city are bracing for yet another lean patch. One of them is Dive! Tutukaka, which is based on Northland's east coast. Ellie Jay spoke with the company's owner and director Jeroen Jongejans.
