Every week we have a look at a unique New Zealand business and this week we're talking to the Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust. Started from a kitchen table in the home of Jo Poland The R.Y.A.L.T provides training in literacy for isolated rural adults and teenagers. Each student is matched with a coach who tailors a package to suit their reading and writing needs and coaches them 3-5 times a week over the phone or skype. Miriama Walesi, community outreach coordinator spoke to First Up producer Ellie Jay.
